Spring Band and Chorus Concert

WEDNESDAY, MAY 29 AT 7:00 p.m. Fifth grade band students have begun playing as a group and will be performing for the first time together at this concert. In addition, fifth graders who are not in the band will be singing together as the Fifth Grade Chorale. And, of course, the band and chorus (grades 6-8) will also be performing. Please feel free to invite any special adult to be here for your children if grandparents cannot be here.  The special adults are invited to be here from the beginning of the day. All may enter the building that day at 8:00 to help us organize before leaving for Mass at 8:20 for the 8:30 Mass.  Guests are invited to then spend time in morning classrooms and before having lunch with the students.  RSVP for lunch and prepay by 10/19/18. The playground will be open for parking for those who are staying. No one may pull onto the playground to drop off.

The final open forum is on Monday, December 18 from 6:00 - 7:00 in St. Charles' Andre Hall.  The Tri-Parish Pastoral Council tasked members from the area Catholic parishes to investigate unifying St. Charles and St. Mary Schools in order to strengthen and grow Catholic education in the Burlington community. The Scholastic Book It Program has posted a video of the Principal Challenge that Mrs. Jackson so enjoyed participating in. Their video features some of the over 900 schools that participated. I am proud to say that this video features 4 pictures from our school: 4th graders with the Wisconsin theme (0:36 on the video), kindergartners with the Thanksgiving theme (1:26),  6th graders with the volcano theme (1:31) and the conclusion with me as Dr. Seuss carrying a bag entitled "Oh, The Places You'll Go."
