  From the Principal

St. Mary's School located in Burlington, Wisconsin, has a rich tradition of excellence over its 145 years of providing a Catholic education for students in grades kindergarten through eighth grade.

Accredited by the archdiocese of Milwaukee and the Wisconsin non-public school association, every staff member is licensed to teach by the State of Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

Our academic program includes the core subjects (mathematics, English, reading and language arts, science, social studies, and religion). Special area subjects taught in every grade level (K-8) are art, music, physical education, technology/computer education, Spanish, library science, and instrumental music (grades 5-8). An algebra course is offered through a partnership with Catholic Central High School located on our campus. Interscholastic sports include boys and girl's basketball, girls volleyball and boys and girls track for grades 5-8.

All classrooms have air conditioning. The hot lunch program is recognized as one of the best in the area. All students wear uniforms. Bus transportation is available within the Burlington School District. Families can also contract for bus service provided by Catholic Central High School for a fee.

Students attend classes in our technology lab housing 35 computers. We have a cart with 16 laptop computers which can turn any classroom into a minilab.  New this year is an additional cart with 8 laptop computers for the Annex building.

Tuition currently is $2,090. Financial assistance is available through the Rewald Scholarship Trust Fund. An annual application for this scholarship is offered.

A very supportive Home and School Parent Organization supports the school program fiscally and through numerous volunteer activities.

Please contact me if I can be of assistance.

Sincerely,

Mrs. Loretta Jackson
